I'm your family lifestyle photographer!
My graduate education in Child and Adolescent Psychology and Development, and 10 plus years in career nannying after graduating from college, makes me a very unique choice for your photography needs! Not only because I am a creative and an artist at heart, but also because I have real life experience every day working one-on-one with families, helping them thrive, live their passions, and their lives. I will take the same approach as your photographer. Hire me to tag along with you and your family in a family adventure, outing, or every-day life activities that are part of your family's identity. Yes, it was on purpose! So perhaps you'll have to save your red pen correction for your child's next homework assignment! ;) Here is the story: It's not just an ode to little humans who are adorably learning how to talk and spell, but it is an ode to my very own family!!
"Lee" is my middle name. But "Lee" was also my Mom's middle name. And it was my Mom's Mother's middle name, making it a treasure and trademark passed down for generations. I decided to bring a very personal family name which has been passed down through my family for generations to the first-born daughter, also to Joyfulee Photography.
I carry and own my middle name with pride and with the understanding that, in very real ways, families continue on. Families can be a source of strength, identity, and hope for the future. They can be a place where legacies are built. I understand that your family has a specific unique identity and family legacy. You've put hard work into building and creating the family you have and each member of your family contributes to the identity, values, and purpose you show up with in this life.
